Daycare

Your dog may attend doggie day care by the day or by the hour. Our trained, caring staff makes sure each dog gets plenty of fun and exercise. We open early and close late, and we offer meal service, field trips, and convenient pickup and drop off service.

Every dog gets: Individual attention, exercise, snuggling and play in our huge 14,000 sq. ft. play area complete with indoor and outdoor space. Our playground is filled with safe playground equipment, trained, caring staff certified in first aid and access to the outdoor area and fresh water. It may not be ‘economical’ or ‘efficient,’ the majority of our space is doggie play space, and that will not change. We separate dogs by size and temperament, and everybody gets time, attention, and lots of space. Little dogs and shy dogs are no exception!! Dogs nap on wagville^® cots when they are tired, and romp on playground equipment and out in the sun when they are not. There are toys to play with and outdoor wading pools to swim in. A heating and cooling system keeps the play area warm in winter and cool in summer. The grass-like turf outside is soft and cool on their paws. Light, fun music is provided by state-of-the art speakers to keep everybody in a mood of contentment. As part of our day care and boarding services, our trained staff monitor the health of your dog’s ears, teeth, skin and coat daily. We do general maintenance on your dog as part of our basic care, and we will alert you to any of your dog’s grooming needs. We never charge for snuggle time, because we would never deny any dog its equal share.

In order to attend day care or board at WagVille^® , dogs must fulfill the following requirements:

• Dog’s owners need to fill out an application
• Dogs must undergo a short, free evaluation
• Dogs must be on some flea medication
• Dogs over 6 months of age must be fixed (neutered or spayed)
• Dogs must have current records of the following vaccinations or titer tests showing that they have antibodies against the diseases they protect against: DDHLP, Bordatella, and Rabies (Rabies after 4 mos old)

To attend Daycare your dog must undergo a scheduled evaluation which includes going over your application and temperament testing. Our evaluation ensures that your dog will be as safe as possible here at WagVille^®. Evaluations are free and last about 45 minutes. Call (323) 222-4442 to schedule one today! Please bring copies of each of the following to your evaluation appointment so we can fulfill both our own and the city’s requirements:

• A copy of your filled out application
• Proof of vaccinations or titer tests for Distemper, Parvo, and Bordetella
• Rabies vaccination certificate after 4 mos old
• Sterility certificate (after 6 mos old)
• Current license
• Complete medical records for any ongoing medical issues
