  • We have several skilled los angeles dog trainers who offer a wealth of experience and can train your dog with obedience classes, dog training seminars and private dog training classes. Our dog trainers work with everything from obedience to tricks to becoming an American Kennel Association Canine Good Citizen to fixing problematic doggie behaviors like barking, chewing, jumping, housebreaking, and aggression. We offer puppy classes, basic obedience classes, intermediate and advanced dog training classes as well as private sessions with just you and your dog. We offer dog training seminars to concentrate on and practice behaviors like loose leash walking, coming and staying. Our dog trainers address problem behaviors and nip them in the bud!

Dog training in our beautiful Los Angeles facility consists of positive reinforcement and word marks or clicker sounds to accurately mark good behavior. Our dog trainers treat each dog as an individual, and tailor their training methods to suit your dog and your lifestyle. We work on building the relationship between you and your dog so that you can help your dog learn obedience commands, learn not to bark or chew or dig or pull on leash, and learn to follow your leadership out of love and respect.

    Tara Erickson:

Tara, a Las Vegas native, has lived with and trained animals throughout her life. She began by studying with and training marine mammals, perfecting her ability to use positive reinforcement to accomplish behaviors. She completed an internship in Hawaii as part of the Training and Education Team at Dolphin Quest, and carried those techniques over to the K9 arena. She now devotes herself completely to dog training. Tara trains dogs and people in both one on one settings and in group classes. She teaches beginning and advanced obedience, and has experience training K9’s to perform for television and movie roles. She believes that she learns from dogs as much as they learn from her, and continues to bolster her education by taking professional courses. She has received her certification in Dog Training from The Animal Behavior College and is also a full member of The Association of Pet Dog Trainers. She is certified to administer the American Kennel Association’s Canine Good Citizenship test. Her goal is to give EVERY dog a chance at a happy, full life. Tara’s philosophy of dog training is to find the right methods to apply to each dog as an individual, rather than impose one rigid method on all the dogs she meets. "Obedience is learning to listen to, listening to a dog until you find what is needed, rather than imposing yourself in the name of training" (The Monks of New Skete)

    Caleb Mose:

Caleb, whose name actually refers to his ability to communicate with dogs, has an uncanny ability to work with canines. He has been training dogs for over 20 years. He is largely self-taught, and has spent a great deal of time working with ‘last chance’ dogs in shelters to help them develop the ability to live in a human-led world despite being abused or not socialized. He is calm, collected and extremely knowledgeable. His methods are positive and solution based, but they depend not on a rigid predetermined style but an ability to examine and deal with each dog as an individual. We know you will enjoy meeting with and learning from him.

    Amir Hadad:

Amir understands that dogs were first domesticated to protect and serve people. A dog’s greatest joy is to please his owner. For effective and joyful training, Amir believes in positive reinforcement, which is carried out by rewarding a dog’s good behaviors. Amir was born and raised in Israel. He moved to the United States in 2005 and began working at a Denver, Colorado based doggy day care. It was here where he became inspired by dog behavior and decided to become a dog trainer. Amir then moved to Los Angeles and received his degree from the Animal Behavior College’s dog training program. He has also volunteered at animal shelters to help dogs develop proper behavior so they can be more easily adopted. Amir’s goal is to help people and dogs communicate on a greater level.
