Dog Training Los Angeles

Meet Your Trainer: Jessica

In addition to being one of our managers, Jessica is our group obedience class trainer. From a small child she always knew she was meant to work with dogs; by eight years old she was already training yellow labs for her family! At nineteen years old she started her career at WagVille, which gave her an opportunity to observe and communicate with an expanded list of breeds and personalities. Michael Ellis became her mentor during her time spent at his training academy in Santa Rosa, California, who emphasized how important clear and consistent methods are.

Jessica fully believes that no matter what background or personality a dog has, they can be trained. The keys to it all are time, patience and understanding. As an owner it’s important to hone management skills and learn to communicate your desires to your dog as well as learning their needs and expectations from you.

A balanced relationship means more success in training, which even furthers a healthy, happy bond.
