Why use the treadmill:
Our treadmill provides great, soft on the paws exercise. Overweight dogs, dogs with behavioral problems, and dogs who just want to have some fun can benefit. We offer treadmill training sessions consisting of slowly, patiently and positively teaching your dog to use the treadmill. Our treadmill trainer can teach your dog to love the treadmill and show you how to conduct your own sessions at home if you have a treadmill. She can also have them walk or run on the treadmill here. Your dog does not need to pass an evaluation to sign up for treadmill training, so sign up today!
Rachel Allen, a socal native, has been a dog-lover her whole life. She started working with the pack at WagVille® and eventually transitioned to off-leash field trips and providing additional exercise with dogs through hikes and running sessions.Recently Rachel implemented the new treadmill program, aimed at providing an alternative method to exercise and as a behavioral tool. Her biggest philosophies on training and dog psychology are learning to have calm, quiet communication with our dogs and helping to fulfill their needs on three basic levels: physically, mentally, & through their breed. She also focuses on helping families problem solve when basic training is not enough and tries to find unique approaches for each family’s situation. Rachel also enjoys dog photography as one of her hobbies and loves meeting and getting to work with all varieties and breeds. “The more of a challenge a dog presents, the more I can better myself as a trainer and as a person in helping to fulfill their needs.”
